Transportation and government leaders in San Mateo County have been talking about putting a measure on the November ballot that could bring an influx of $2.4 billion dollars into the transportation world. Caltrans District 4 Bike Plan Now Available
The wait is over! After at least a year of planning, outreach, and mapping, the Caltrans District 4 Bike Plan is now available. Check out our blog for more information on the prioritized list and map of proposed bike projects on state highways throughout the Bay Area. This vision will help Caltrans and local jurisdictions when implementing projects.

Fifteen Priority Neighborhoods and Schools Identified in New San Mateo County Safe Routes Equity Analysis
After advocacy from SVBC, Get Healthy SMC analyzed collisions around public schools in San Mateo County to find out where safety, demographics, and health intersect. The resulting report identifies fifteen neighborhoods and schools to prioritize safety at in San Mateo County. Find out more details.
SVBC Supports Regional Measure 3

Quick actions to protect Dumbarton transit/bike/ped funds in East Bay
A proposal from Union City is moving forward to raid the major Dumbarton Corridor transit project to build a highway instead, repurposing Alameda County Dumbarton Corridor funds (for rail, an intermodal station, and bike/ped infrastructure) to the East West Highway Connector project. Submit a Session Proposal for the 8th Annual Silicon Valley Bike Summit
We are soliciting proposals for session and speaker ideas for the 8th Annual Silicon Valley Bicycle Summit. The Bike Summit is a weekday, one-day conference intended to educate the community on key issues related to bicycling in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties as well as bring together people working in this field. Proposals are due March 31, 2018.
